Kindergarten is not only a place for children but a place for families to meet and build relationships with local families. The kindergarten community, now over 50 years old, is culturally inclusive where all families are respected and encouraged to collaborate with educators to ensure learning outcomes for children are achieved.
Families are encouraged to be involved with their child’s learning and development and to contribute to the enhancement of the educational program. Families have opportunities to be involved by spending time with their children during a session, sharing special skills, attend special family events, volunteering as members of the committee and assisting with fundraising events.
Throughout the year, many fundraising and social events are held for our kinder community, including BBQs, Disco and a Christmas celebration. During 2019 we held our first trivia night which was enjoyed by all and was a wonderful fundraiser for the kinder!
